How do I find the right agent whos right for me?
If you’re thinking about either selling or buying, a good place to start is by talking with friends, neighbors, family and friends. Look to almost anyone that you know and can trust their recommendation for a particular agent or firm.
Another way to find a suitable agent is to keep an eye open for marketing material that may come to your home. Those marketing pieces, such as the "just sold" or "just listed" post cards may be a good indication that the people that live around you have entrusted those agents to sell (or buy) their home. Give that person a call for a quick phone conversation or invite them to your home to meet them. I can often tell how an agent will perform through the buying or selling process just from a brief phone conversation. An by all means, work with a Realtor that understand your wants and needs, and one that you get along with. I certainly have had my share of clients, and can honestly say I remain close with just about all of them because of the understanding we both have had prior to committing to each other.
